Whether you are alone or part of a group, this is the most flexible option for exploring the mountains. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced skier, looking to get your first taste of the sport or seeking an off-the-beaten-track experience, our guides will tailor their services to offer you the best itinerary.
A minimum technical level (being comfortable on black runs) is required.

Equipment:
Important! Before booking with the office, check with a rental shop in the resort (Google Maps: ski shop) to make sure equipment is available for your day. Ski crampons are essential!

Skis, poles, climbing skins, crampons, helmets, goggles or sunglasses, food and drink, backpack, light skiwear.

Avalanche safety packs are mandatory (transceiver, shovels, probes). These can be provided by the guide and are included in the price of the service.

Les Arcs - Peisey Vallandry or Paradiski ski pass if you wish to start from the ski lifts.

Meeting point:
This depends on the route you will be taking with your guide. Once you have made your reservation, contact your guide to arrange a meeting point.

Duration:
9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for a full day
9:30 a.m. → 1 p.m. for a half day or 1 p.m. → 4:30 p.m.: only in the resort

Activity description:
After meeting your guide and receiving a briefing on equipment and ski touring safety, you will set off on ski touring routes suited to your level.

The guide will adapt to offer you routes based on various criteria: your level, the conditions, your preferences, the size of the group, etc. Safety remains the priority, but don't forget to enjoy yourself!

Some ski touring routes can be accessed via the ski lifts, particularly for beginners and intermediate skiers (less than 800 meters of elevation gain per day).

There are many off-piste hikes available about 30 minutes from Les Arcs. A minimum of 700 meters of elevation gain per day is required. If you do not have your own transportation, please contact the office to carpool with our guides.

Some examples of itineraries:

- For beginners and intermediate skiers:
Malgovert Forest, Crêtes des Lanchettes, Plan Peisey Forest, ideal routes for beginners to ski touring thanks to their gentle slopes and moderate elevation gain.

- For advanced to expert levels:
Le Clapet, Combe Bénite, L'homme Cairn, Tête des deux Antoines. Routes for lovers of wide open spaces, far from the resorts, with a moderate elevation gain (+/-900 m) and spectacular views.

- For experts:
Rocher de la Davie, Col des Roches, Le Mont Pourri (special rate)
Reach the peaks of the Haute Tarentaise and ski on the ephemeral glaciers.
For regular ski tourers in good physical shape: +/- 1200m elevation gain per day.
You must be comfortable skiing downhill and uphill: steep sections, use of crampons, etc.

Group size:
6 people maximum. For groups of 7 to 8 people, we only offer technically easy introductory routes.
For expert routes, the group size may be adjusted depending on conditions. Please check with the office.
